According to the official reports, three medical colleges have been approved for upgradation in Andhra Pradesh at 1. Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati, 2. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijaywada, 3. Govt. Medical College, Anantapur.

Three new government colleges will also be established at Piduguralla (100 seats), Paderu (100 seats) and Machilipatnam (150 seat). Hence, there are approximately 600 new seats in medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada is expected to start the registrations of the Andhra Pradesh medical admissions on the official website soon.
