how is faculty of architecture Lucknow for b arch??

Koustav Dey 15th Nov, 2020

Hello,

Faculty of architecture is one of the best college of up for architecture with good faculties.  It is recognized by COA and AICTE  FOA, Lucknow is also a better choice from the angle of financial benefits. Its a state run institution so fees is subsidized up to 80% of private colleges including caste quota subsidies.

Apart from it, the college is located in the heart of Lucknow unlike other college which are usually at the outskirts. Lucknow is a cool city to live in and if you are from UP and wish to not go outside UP then it will be best for you to join FOA.

You can find more details about FOA, Lucknow from the link below

My State Architecture Rank of telangana is 381.In which colleges can i get a seat? Will i get in JNAFAU-SPA,Hyd.What colleges have hostel facility along with low fees? What options should I apply in counselling?

Tarreni Behera 15th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You may have some chances of getting an architecture seat in Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. The number of seats available in JNAFAU for B. Arch is only 45 and all are Self supporting structure seats. The only problem here is that JNAFAU is one of the best Institutes of the state offering architecture and provides admission to students who have secured a great rank in NATA exam. The only way I see that you can be part of the state university is by some sort of reservation or caste category that you belong to. The seats for architecture in JNAFAU is filled first by the top architecture rank holders of the state i.e. those with the best SAR or State Architecture Rank.

However, you definitely have some chances of being a part of JNAFAU as well as being a part of any other government Architecture Institute.

If you want to know which colleges you may get based on NATA score, I suggest you to click on this link:-

what are the similarities between architecture and interior design

eeshamomin 14th Nov, 2020

Hello

There are certain things that make them similar which are:

  • Both are qualified to solve problems related to empty space design.
  • Both architecture and interior design are considered as art and a science.
  • There are many technical and artistic terms that they must be familiar with.
  • Both architects and interior designers should have a number of skills.
  • Both should stay in touch with the latest news and techniques in their field.
  • They are creative people.
  • They constantly learn about new techniques introduced to their fields.

In general, the job or the architect is to design a house internally and externally, including the electricity, plumbing, and focusing on the exterior design and the interior decoration elements and determine tiles, floors and lighting.

While the job of the Interior designer is working on the interior design of the house (all the rooms) including the lighting, tile and floors selection, and to focus on the internal materials, finishes, hardware furniture, textiles, wall paint.

Hope it helps

Thankyou

How is CSE from RGIPT. I have architecture in BHU but not interested in the course.please guide.

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020
Hello,

First of all i would suggest you one important thing that you should never continue anything which doesn't interests you and that too architecture which actually has not much scope at present.
If you are getting option of CSE then you can go for it.The placement record in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Engineering is good. The average package is around 6-8 LPA. Placement in CSE is good as TCS,Wipro, Intel and other tech giants offer placement.

I hope this helps

if i got seat in last round (second allotment) of architecture in keam at self-finacing college and I dont want to go that college because i got in NIT,is there is any promblem? that self-finacing college is asking for 50000 as fine from me? what should i do

Ayush 12th Nov, 2020

Hi Candidate,

It's great to hear that you have been selected for NITs, heartiest congratulations for that!!

As you have already got into KEAM in a self-financing college, then you have to first cancel your enrollment and then go for NIT admission. In order to cancel your enrollment, you have to consult the college administration and ask for the formalities to be followed for the same.

Regarding the penalty, you have to consult with your student counsellor and the admission adminstrator and explain your situation and then follow their instructions carefully.

Hope that the answer helps you!!
