Hello Student,
BITS is a very reputed institution and it has more or less the equal infrastructure and opportunities for the students. Both courses are very good courses and are of high importance in this present day world. You can go through the following parameters before you decide:

Both of them have a wonderful infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

All the faculties are well qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements are really good as many good companies visit this college. Most of the students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from wide range of companies.

However, at the end of the day, it all depends on what field you want to pursue your career in. There is equal demand for both and equal opportunities for both.
Dear Aspirant,
You should really go for Mechatronics instead of electronics and Instrumentation. While in the latter you mostly learn about electronics and chips, in the former you learn about both electronics and mechanisms.
In Mechatronics, you will get to learn about physical systems modelling, sensors and actuators, signals and systems , computers and logic systems, software and data acquisition, etc. These key concepts shall be able to build you a strong fundamental base of robotics through which you can excel in your career. This branch has a lot of scope in future and Mechatronics is an absolute and continuously evolving integration of electrical and mechanical engineering.
The blending components of mechatronics are mechanical components, electro mechanical components, electronics, electronics software, software for mechanical components and computer science. As it is continuously evolving branch of engineering, more subjects are being integrated within its paradigm.
Mechatronics engineers work on projects like AI( Artificial Intelligence), robotics, control systems ,data communications and networks, Dynamics of machines and mechanisms, human interaction with machines , industrial automation management, smart infrastructure and so on.
Mechatronics is a rare branch and not all institutions have this particular branch with the qualified professors for guiding the students in the process.
I hope this information was helpful to you. Choose a branch which interests you more.
Dear aspirant,HBTU kanpur is excellent college in UP. It has been successfully able to provide average package of 9-10 LPA which is quite good. The campus life is great and it offers exposure to MNCs like Reliance,TCS. Also mini ratna PSU like Bharat electronics limited etc also visit the campus. It has a great eminent faculty with nice infrastructure and course curriculum.
Now coming to IIIT una has great infrastructure and faculty. Around 80% students got placed in companies like Jio,Dentalkart, KPIT etc. The average salary package was between 4-5LPA. It still needs more development currently. So I would suggest HBTU is a better choice, rest you can choose accordingly.
