    In India, the salary for a personal stylist ranges along the same lines. They can earn anywhere between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. Personal stylists work from their own offices.An entry-level Fashion Stylist with less than 1 year experience can expect to earn an average total compensation (includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay) of 375,000 based on 14 salaries. An early career Fashion Stylist with 1-4 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 430,000 based on 29 salaries. A mid-career Fashion Stylist with 5-9 years of experience earns an average total compensation of 604,750 based on 7 salaries.

    Hi there, fashion designing in NIFT is a very good choice if they are not picking up the call you should go and enquiry in the college you should also try to do emails and try to find other mode of contact if you somehow fail to contact them in every mode then go to the college and if you live nearby then you can easily go and enquiry there .     Yes, NIFT does provide fashion stylist course.
    You can go for certified course of Creative fashion styling. It is a part-time course and the duration is 6 months.
    Eligibility criteria: The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognised board.
    Admission is given on the basis of personal interview and preference is given to those having experience in the relevant industry.

    National institute of fashion technology offers you a 6 month part time certificate as a certificate in fashion styling, for that there is no entrance exam you will have to apply online and the complete admission procedure will be done on the basis of your score in 10 + 2 and  performance in personal interview for more detail you can go with the below link where you will have complete detail about NIFT admission.

    - Bachelor of design (B.Des)

    - Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech)

    - Master of Design (M.Des)

    - Master of Fashion Management(MFM)

    - Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech)

    Important dates:

    - Registration starts on 23th oct 2019

    - Last date to apply online on 31th dec 2019

    - Last date with late fee in on 04th jan 2020

    - Application editing is from 1st jan to 4th jan 2020

    - Admit card availability is on 10th jan 2020

    -Entrance test on 19th jan 2020

    You can work in a boutique or work with a fashion stylist as an assistant for part time experience.

    You can also start blogging. Blogging is very demanding in today's market. You can start your own blog and can collaborate with others from the same field.

    You can also work with a styling industry or a modelling industry just to gain exposure.

    Companies like Mark and Spencer, Raymond, etc also hire interns and fresher for fashion stylist work. You can also go for such jobs.

    Also,if you are a student, then you can join a local advertisement firm or local photo studio and work as fashion stylist there.
    There are unlimited opportunities if you look for. You can start at home too. You can style your own self and earn on social media too.

    Internship is definitely a good start. Time duration of internship depends on where you intern. It can be of 3 months , 6 months or even a year. Internship takes you a notch higher in gaining some quality experience. Learn that being a stylist would do no good to you if you have no work. Fashion industry works on recommendations. During internship make sure that you show yourself well. Interact with as many people as you can. Your contacts might help you later in fetching some good work. Setting your foot in the industry would definitely take some time. It entirely depends on your skills and capabilities. Its not gonna happen overnight. Just take one step at a time. Learn the very intricacies of design. Be inquisitive about learning new things.

    Yes,you are eligible for fashion styling.
    Don't be worried about your grades there has been no particular marks mentioned for most of the colleges.
    .
    Most of the institute are in need of Just passing marks which is 40%
    And you have scored enough good for it.

    Here is the eligibility criteria if you are doing master's in fashion styling,
    • Candidates need to have 23 years of age
    • Candidates need to have complete bachelor's degree with 50%
    • There is no age limit
    • Some of the colleges held there own entrance exams.

    Internships are a good start. Since as of now you are working as an intern ,so make sure that you start developing your own portfolio. Your portfolio should reflect who you are are.

Getting a bachelor's degree in  in fashion merchandising will also help you make connections, score internships and, ultimately, get hired. you'll learn about design trends, product development, marketing, manufacturing and more.
