find the missing term in the series given below 30 31 34 39 46 dash

Tanya Gupta 17th Jun, 2024

Hello,

To find the missing term in the series 30, 31, 34, 39, 46, let's analyze the pattern:

The difference between 31 and 30 is

31

30

=

1

31−30=1

The difference between 34 and 31 is

34

31

=

3

34−31=3

The difference between 39 and 34 is

39

34

=

5

39−34=5

The difference between 46 and 39 is

46

39

=

7

46−39=7

The differences are 1, 3, 5, 7, which are consecutive odd numbers. Continuing this pattern, the next difference should be 9.

Thus, the next term is

46

+

9

=

55

46+9=55.

So, the missing term is 55.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you
