Hey!

This is what exactly happens in counselling of any entrance exam. You are given a form to fill your preferences and as per your rank/score in entrance exam, the seats chosen by you are provided. This is the actual motto of counseling: to provide students with the desired seats. However, you must choose your seats wisely.

Hope I answered your query

Thank you

Hello dear student,

If you are feeling a form and they have asked you to fill the college preference so you should must give the college preferences because that will be beneficial for you only. Although students get college on the basis of their marks only that they obtain. but already giving preferences of the colleges in which you want to get admission in can add a little benefit to the application

Thank you
