There is no IT department or related department in the Indian Army. But there is an IT department in the Navy.
Indian Navy furnishes outstanding job vacancies in the profession of IT.
The staff will know undertakings, supervision, and leadership of state-of-the-art systems, IT framework, and progressed IT/InfoSec requisitions.
They are learned to deal with niche tech. and R&D processes as part of the basic development form.
Navy IT format is different as it affects not only shore-based institutions but also floating departments, which expect to protect connectivity and coordinated undertakings.
The responsibilities of an IT officer comprises:-
- Enactment of enterprise-wide networking and software development programs.
- Supervision of crucial naval networks and software entreaty.
- The leadership of ashore and afloat systems.
- Growth of practice of cyber safety performances
- Management of cyber security incident reaction and cyber forensics.
The candidates must occupy 60% marks or more in one of the following programs.
- BE/B.Tech (Computer Sci./ Computer Engrg. /IT)
- M.Tech (Computer Sci.)
- M.Sc (Computer Sci.)
- MCA
