Dear Sarabjit, if you havent passed B.Sc, 1st year, your Highest qualification will still remain 10+2. Code 5 states :

Candidates who studying in the first year of the three years degree course of a recognized University with PCB (that includes practical tests in the given subjects) provided the examination is a University Examination. The candidate also passed their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

It says in the last sentence that 'The Candidate also passed their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English'.

If you are in B.Sc 1st year, your earlier and highest qualification is 10+2. Which you have passed. If you belong to General Catargory the aggregate required in your 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is 50%. It is 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. If you have the required aggregate against your Category, you are eligible for NEET 2020. If you are preparing for NEET 2020, this might be useful for you:

Dear aspirant, I know you really want to pursue medical career but the truth is it is really really tough to prepare for medical entrance while you are studying for your degree. Preparation for NEET UG takes lots of Hard work and needs full attention, preparing while pursuing your degree will ultimately bring lots of stress and strain on your brain. This is the time you have to choose what you really want, you are at crossroads where you have two decent options either pursue your bachelor's degree or drop the year and dedicate yourself for neet UG preparation. Hard work always pays off, you will always get success in anything you have put your time and energy but before making any decision consider all the things, your options your opinion, your dreams and what you want, then go for it.
All the best for your future,
Thank you.
