I had updated my aadhar card last year and it's all up to date however I have again requested for the document update. If the update is still going on during the registration period can I use my aadhar card that I had updated last year?
Hello there,
Yes, you can use the Aadhaar card that was updated last year for the registration process, as long as the details on the card are accurate and match your other documents. The Aadhaar card is valid unless there is a major update or discrepancy that needs to be addressed.
If the update process is still ongoing and you haven't received the updated version yet, you should proceed with the Aadhaar card you already have, provided the information is correct. Once the update is completed and you receive the new version, you can use that for any future registrations or processes.
Make sure to check if your details are accurately reflected in the system before using the card for any official purposes.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
Yes, even if your Aadhaar card update is still "in process" during the registration period, you can still use your existing Aadhaar card that you updated last year.
Validity of existing Aadhaar:
As long as your Aadhaar card is not marked as "invalid" due to pending updates, you can use it for verification purposes during registration.
Verification process:
When you provide your Aadhaar number, the system will usually verify it online with the UIDAI database, which will reflect your latest updated details even if the update is still being processed.
Check your status:
If you have any concerns, you can always check the status of your Aadhaar update on the UIDAI website or through the mAadhaar app to confirm the current validity of your card.
Have a nice day!!!
