Some of the most dominant AMU Aligarhh facilities are multiple halls for both boys and girls with a capacity of hundreds of students. AMU Aligarh facilities also include a health centre that is available all round the clock. The university has a Hall of Residence which is a cluster of hostels. There are a total of 14 halls for boys. Each hall has a common room provided with the reading, indoor game facility and sports areas. There is also a common dining hall.

AMU medical facilities include Round-the-clock emergency services along with OPD services all 365 days a year, even on Sundays and holidays. There is also an ambulance facility for the students and staff. The aim of the health centre is to provide the best medical attention/first aid to the students of Aligarh Muslim University.
The university has a Gymnasium facility for the students (Physical Culture Club (Weight Lifting, Power Lifting & Body Building).
AMU has a Central Library called Maulana Azad Library. The library has a large collection of manuscripts, rare books and artefacts. M.A. Library currently holds about 14 lakhs volumes of books and subscribes to popular research journals and databases. The Maulana Azad Library’s vision is to cater to the informational, academic and research needs of the University fraternity.
Aligarh Muslim University has a Games Committee that consists of 15 main clubs & sub clubs dedicated to different sports. The University has separate fields for cricket, hockey, football, tennis, riding and athletics. Indoor facilities like billiards, chess, carom, table tennis, swimming and badminton are also available for boys and girls students separately.
AMU facilities include a computer centre that helps students at different levels of their degree programme with three layered architecture and distribution using fibre optic cable, internet services, email services, cloud computing services, communication services, self service, intranet portal and IT helpdesk. There is also a campus Wi-Fi facility for the students.
AMU has a cafeteria that is located on the campus of the university. During Institute timings, hygienic delicious snacks and food products are available at equal prices.
The university has an auditorium facility for events. There is a seminar hall with new educational technology, such as LCD projection unit, slide projection system and overhead projection system. The hall is used for presentations, workshops and seminars of the visitors.
The university has a good networking for alumni association and Mohd. Hamid Ansari, Naseeruddin Shah, Javed Akhter, Sahab Sing Verma, Zafar Iqbal Notable Alumni.

AMU facilities include a guest house facility for both students and university staff to accommodate parents and faculty scholars from outside campus.

However, some buildings and classrooms could benefit from renovation and modernization. The college infrastructure is well-maintained and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors for smart learning. The library has a vast collection of books and journals. Laboratories are modern and fully functional, aiding hands-on learning. The campus is clean with green spaces, Wi-Fi availability, and proper sanitation facilities. Hostel accommodation is good with decent food and security. However, more seating areas and updated sports facilities would improve the overall experience.
Aligarh Muslim University contains Asia most biggest library in which there is almost books of all the stream our university also contains guest hostel which is available for students guardian and parents university has a very big sports grounds for all kind of sports but the buildings of university is some how very old and it need to be maintained properly
