I have scored 114 marks in WBJEE this year(2019). Can I get CSE IT ET or EE in Jadavpur University?

Hello Mayank, the last year closing rank for CSE and IT branch were low. Given that you have scored 114 marks you would get a rank around 1,200-1,500. You should get Electrical branch if you wait till the final round but getting CS or IT would be very tough. You can also chose alternative colleges like IEM.

B pharma corce ka admission Jadavpur University main antim date kab tak hai

Hello, for addmision in B.Pharm in Jadavpur University you have to sit in WBJEE and qualify in it. After that you must seat for WBJEE councelling opting option for BPharm in Jadavpur University. This is the general procedure for addmision. The councelling occur in the month of June and July.

Yes, JU has B.Ed programme. The registration for it will end by the second week of Sept, 2019 and the Entrance test will be between 7-14th September. If you don't have state domicile (West Bengal domicile) you shall be considered as a GENERAL category student irrespective of your caste certificate.

So you should fill your form under the GEN category.

Dear Shivangi as per the eligibility criteria of Jadavpur university you are eligible for all the courses of Bachelor of Arts you can fill the form for BA or you can give entrance exam. I got above 60% taking PCM aggregate together. But in maths i got 58. Can i get admission in Jadavpur university.

Yes, provided you score more than 30% of total marks in English. If you're a general candidate you need minimum 45% aggregate else for a reserved candidate it is 40%.

Sir, i am from bihar and i got 33 in mathematics, 55 in physics, 54 in chemistry.May i able to take admission in jadavpur university?

The eligibility criteria for BTech in Jadavpur University states that if you're a general candidate you need minimum 45% aggregate in your PCM taken together or else for a reserved candidate it is 40%. Besides, you need atleast 30% of total marks in English. See if you qualify for the above.

For GATE candidates:

Application process begins in April end and continues till first week of May.
End of May, list of shortlisted candidates is put up based on merit.

For self sponsored candidates/NON-GATE M.Tech admissions:

Application process begins in April end and continues till first week of May.
Admission tests are held in the last week of May.
First or second week of June, list of shortlisted candidates is put up based on performance in the test.Candidates are admitted based on the list.

College Infrastructure

The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.

My experience at Jadavpur University was great.

College Infrastructure

The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.

Very nice experience.

Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.
