Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Architecture and Planning is situated in Nagarjuna Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, and is one of the prime institutions focused on architectural education. Faculty strength: 12 experienced faculty—a comprehensive five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) program developing in the students a proper foundation in architectural design and planning.

Application Process

The modes of admission into Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Architecture and Planning include the following:

1. Registers for entrance.   

  1. For JEE Main: Register on the official JEE Main website during the application window which is generally the preceding year of admission.
  2. For NATA: Applications will be through the NATA official website. It is customarily held more than once a year, thus allowing candidates more than one chance.

2. Entrance:  

  1. Presently, on the appointed dates, the candidate would appear for either JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch.) or NATA.
  2. It is advisable to prepare on the lines of the prescribed syllabus and previous years' question papers.

3. Result Declaration:

  1. Await declaration of results for JEE Main or NATA.   
  2. Assess your score and percentile to evaluate your opportunity for admission.

4. Application to the College:

  1. Visit Acharya Nagarjuna University's or College of Architecture and Planning's main web page.
  2. Go through B.Arch. admission notification and the application form.   
  3. Fill in the application form with correct information like JEE Main or NATA score.
  4. Pay the application fee, as mentioned in the notification.

5. Document Submission:

  • Document must be prepared comprising inter alia:
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • JEE Main or NATA score card
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate (if required)
  • Recent passport-size photographs

6. Merit List and Counselling:

  1. The college shall publish the merit list based on the results of the entrance exam and other criteria.
  2. Go for counselling if shortlisted on the specified date.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Arch.: The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is the main program offered at Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Architecture and Planning. It is a five-year full-time degree course providing profound understanding of architectural concepts and operational practices. The process of administration for B.Arch. is so:

An Eligibility Criterion: Candidates are required to have passed their 10+2 examinations or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate may be kept as a condition in the qualifying exam.

Entrance Test: For admission in B.Arch., an applicant should qualify himself by appearing for either JEE Main (Paper 2-B. Arch) or NATA.

Preparation of Merit List: A merit list is prepared by the college based on the combined scores obtained in JEE Main or NATA and in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).

Counseling: A counseling session is held; shortlisted candidates are called for counseling where seat allotments are done on merit and availability.

Conversely, B.Arch. has got the intake capability of 40 seats, and the process of admission itself has since become competitive.
