Labs and facilities are good but campus are small and college ground is little bit small but ok ok and canteen is good and there are library and reading room, seminar room, girls common room, don't have boys common room.
This college is famous for academic it's fall in NIRF ranking 18 because of academic and research. And students are very good in academic.college crowd are very good.Teachers are supportive and well qualified.
Placement is not that good in this college only bcom and cs students can get placement but you have to work hard on your skills. You have to do masters so you can get higher placement opportunities for your future.
Yes it's value for money
Good campus life because of good crowd
Infrastructure is not that good it's feel like government school but college is good for research and labs. campus is small overall infrastructure is not bad for research student pure science student bsc bms
Academic is very good in this college teacher are very supportive and qualified nirf ranking is 18th.And students are very dedicated in this college its a good college for studies and research. Its a science college
Placement is poor in this college you don't expect higher placement without skills with only bsc degree you have to do masters for higher placement and future perspectives. Its a good college for bsc.
Yes it's value for money Max Fee is 17000 per year for any courses
Campus is small but it's worth it because crowd is very good
It is a very college for science students but not good for commerce students. The campus is very small yet we find peace . Staff is very good.. it comes under University of Delhi.. it’s nirf ranking is 18. The placement is not good but the experience u will get here will improve you here.
It is not a part of DuSu election so there is peace.. there are no distractions. there are labs for the science students .. science students prefer to come here .. students actively take part in societies.
This college unfortunately provided less placement. the maximum placement here is 6-7lakh p.a. and this is also not guaranteed. The minimum cgpa required for placement is 8 which is not easy for students so no placements.
Yes it is value for money fee only14000 for bcom hons per annum and ₹12000 only for b.se for electronic
the students are very friendly
Our college provide all facilities and equipment College infrastructure is well maintained and clean classrooms . Have pleasent and good environment for learning And have alse common areas and grounds
Good academics I studying in bsc physical science with electronics The college offers good quality of teaching with experienced faculty They focus on teaching which helps students to make strong academics
Quality of Placement of my collage is very bad. Placement opportunities in this college is limited Limited companies visit, many students face problems to find jobs Placement support needs some improvements
College offers Good Value for money My course take almost 10000 per year Providing all facilities at reasonable cost All resources are accessible to students
Campus life is moderate Students engaged in few activities and events
The college is small but it has good labs, good facilities ,good faculty ,eco friendly environment, there is greenery in the college and have research labs. The reading room and library are big and both are separate. The playground is a little small
The college is good for academics. The teachers are good. The NIRF ranking is 18 College is famous for studies. There are good qualified professors and they are supportive too. The best students here are at a higher level
You get placements here but not much, you have to work hard to get a good placement, college will not do anything, you will have to develop skills on your own to get a higher package.you want higher placement then do you should apply for north campus top colleges.
It's value for money
Good campus life
All the facilities are available in the college. Library is very good with free wi-fi being available for all the students. Different sports are available along with the classrooms having projectors. The labs have smart boards and all the lab equipments. Overall, the infrastructure is not that good when compared to the other DU colleges .
Faculty is average, neither too bad nor too good. It majorly depends upon how involved you are with your studies. The end-semester exams are not that difficult if you have been consistent throughout the semester and have attended classes along with doing your studies and assignments properly.
No placements cell is available for the students. You have to do M.Sc. and Ph.D. to get a decent job. The college itself has no cell to offer placements. The alumni is nice but they have to continue studying for a long time. You can join societies like spite and erasmus mundus
Good college.
Although the college is not as large as other Delhi University Colleges, The facilities are still adequate for students. The campus, canteen and sports complex are all nicely organized and the classrooms have wifi installed.
The teachers are all very experienced and have a Interactive way of teaching. Overall the college is great for learning and the curriculum is very comprehensive, complying to the norms of Delhi University.
As per the reports published by Placement cell of the college, the packages offered by college are average compared other Delhi University Colleges and there are considerable amount of companies that come to the college, but hire people after thorough analysis.
Great College.
Fairly good in terms of infrastructure, the labs are well equipped.... The rooms are spacious and well maintained too....Sports facilities are ample and the college has a huge play ground as well. Overall, the infra is optimal.
Ranked amongst top 20 SCIENCE colleges in India according to NIRF. Teachers are knowledgeable and most of them are ready to help. Some may be arrogant/non interactive as well. But overall the college provides a good atmosphere for study
No placement opportunities for science students. No efforts are done by the college administration for placement of science students and that's the bad part. Rest all is fair enough. The administration needs to improve on this front.
The fee structure is minimal, so definitely value for money
The college consists of a multitude of labs where frequent research takes place, The college library's lending system is RFID enabled, making it easier for borrow, return and keep tracks of books. The college is pretty old but reinnovation has been done in order to keep it well maintained and up to date.
The college's faculty in its various departments consists of veterans of the fields in which they teach, helping and nurturing students to develop deeper connection and understanding of their respective field of study.
Placements offered by the college itself are good enough. The quality of placement could depend upon the quality of the student too, the more the experience and academically he/she is, the better is their placement.
5/5 since ANDC is under DU, it gets the added benefit of being cost effective i.e the fees to be paid for the respective field of study are comparatively lesser than what a student might had to be in other colleges or universities. My overall annual is 9k per year, which is the biggest benefit of studying here.
Campus life could be a hit or miss. It all depends on the attitude of oneself and the circumstances which he/she currently faces. There is open mindedness everywhere so for me, college life turned out to be quite good.
They are having good infrastructure with basic necessities. they are having every equipment that is required ,like good water facility ,sports equipment room ,good playground, good teacher. They gave evry good facility that is required.
I'm studying b com honors from Archna Narendra Dev college. Teachers are good with everything.they give us best advice and solve questions if required they give us good environment to study and understand everything
Overall placement of college is good. not so many companies are visiting the college. There are companies those are visiting are not giving good package. But there is good placement offer. Companies are coming in college but still it's not satisfied
Hey Anusree, great question about Biomedical Science at Delhi University!
Let's break it down:
So, is a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biomedical Science at DU a good idea?
Absolutely! If you're fascinated by the molecular and cellular side of health and disease, it's a fantastic choice.
You'll gain the knowledge and skills you need for a career in research, diagnostics, or other related fields.
Now, you're asking whether Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC) or Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS) is better.
Here's a quick comparison to help you decide: Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC):
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences (BCAS):
These things make a big difference in your overall experience. Basically, both ANDC and BCAS have strong Biomedical Science programs.
The best choice really depends on your interests, career goals, and what you're looking for in terms of campus facilities and culture.
If you can, try to visit both campuses and chat with current students or faculty. That'll give you the best insights to help you make your decision!
Yes , dear applicant Acharya Narendra Dev College is indeed a good college however based on your curriculum of choice which is Computer Science, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College is a better one. When you take admission in this college, you get good academic environment, Experienced Faculties teaching the subjects and well maintained library facilities. It is a worthy choice,
