Albert Einstein School of Physical Sciences is a constituent college of Assam University. The institute was established in the year 1994 and it was named after one of the greatest minds of science, Albert Einstein. The institution is co-educational and has been progressively offering scientific temper to students since the last nearly three decades. The school offers various different courses in physical sciences, mathematics, and computer science of which postgraduate and doctoral studies are also conducted. 

With a faculty strength of 24 dedicated professionals, the institute is deemed to provide an excellent environment for learning. A commitment to academic excellence by the school was well reflected in the offer of 14 courses at four degree levels, where there was considerable opportunity for getting the chance for passionate pursuit in scientific disciplines.

The school also offers an integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science and an MA in Statistics. M.Sc. Physics: The institute has 50 seats for this course. The applicants must have a bachelor's degree with Physics as one of the major subjects.

M.Sc. Computer Science (Integrated): It admits 40 students. It is probably a 5-year integrated course, but no particular eligibility is stated.

M.Sc. Statistics: The institute admits 33 students for this course. A bachelor's degree in Statistics or Mathematics is generally the minimum requirement.

MA Statistics: 33 seats are available in this course. This course may be for science and arts students with a special interest in statistics.

M.Sc. Computer Science: 20 seats are available in this course. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related courses.
