About ACE Salem
ACE Salem or Annapoorana Engineering College in Salem, Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2010. The college is a private autonomous college. ACE Salem is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi and is accredited by NAAC. The college sits over an area of 13.94 acres; however, it enroles 565 students in total and has 135 faculty members. ACE Salem is one of the pioneer institute offering eleven courses distributed in two prestigious degrees focusing on different engineering fields. The institute maintains a diverse student body with a 3:1 male to each female student and there is a small 1% enrollment of out of state students.
ACE Salem owns modern day teaching structures to improve learning and co-curricular activities. A fully equipped health centre that provides round the clock ambulance service adds to the students’ comfort. Other facilities available are Power Gym, hygienic cafeteria, multi-arena auditorium, and transport facilities linking Salem, Namakkal and Adjacent regions.
The institute includes undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Technology field. The full-time courses include 9 BE/B.Tech programmes and 2 ME/M.Tech programmes. The courses which are on high demand include BE in Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical and Automobile Engineering with an intake of 60. The college also provides a variety of other programmes including BE in Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, IT among other unique programmes. There are postgraduate ME programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, with 24 seats, and Power Electronics and Drives with 24 seats as well.
