The admission process is designed to select deserving candidates based on merit and academic performance for each program. 

Application Process

The application process varies depending on the program level.

For B.Sc Programs:

1. Appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET).

2. Visit the college admission portal to fill out the online application form.

3. Upload required documents such as 10+2 mark sheets, GUJCET score card, and other necessary certificates.

4. Pay the application fee.

5. Submit the completed application form online.

6. Wait for the merit list to be published.

7. If selected, complete the admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment.

For M.Sc Programs:

1. Check the college website for M.Sc admissions announcements.

2. Fill out the online application form for the desired program.

3. Upload necessary documents such as bachelor's degree mark sheets.

4. Pay the required application fee.

5. Submit the completed application form.

6. The college will prepare a merit list based on academic performance in the bachelor’s degree.

7. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and admission.

For Ph.D Programs:

1. Monitor the college website for Ph.D. admission notifications.

2. Register for the entrance test in the respective subject.

3. Fill out the online application form for the Ph.D program.

4. Upload necessary documents, including master's degree certificates and research proposal (if required).

5. Pay the application fee.

6. Appear for the entrance test.

7. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.

8. Final selection will be based on performance in the entrance test and interview.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc Programs:

• Program Offered: B.Sc Home Science and Nutrition (Hons), B.Sc Community Science (Hons)

• Admission Method: Based on performance in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET).

• Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with relevant subjects.

• Total Seats: 60 seats for each program.

• Fee: Rs 54,800 for B.Sc Community Science (Hons).

M.Sc Programs:

• Program Offered: M.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition, Extension Education and Communication Management, Human Development and Family Studies, Family Resource Management and Consumer Science.

• Admission Method: Merit-based, considering academic performance in the undergraduate degree.

• Seats:

  • Food Science and Nutrition: 5 seats

  • Extension Education: 5 seats

  • Human Development and Family Studies: 2 seats

  • Family Resource Management: 1 seat

• Fee: Rs 22,800.

Ph.D Programs:

• Program Offered: Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition, Extension Education and Communication Management.

• Admission Method: Through an entrance test, followed by an interview.

• Seats:

  • Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition: 2 seats

  • Ph.D in Extension Education and Communication Management: 1 seat.
