My experience was very good in this college....
Verified ReviewCollege Infrastructure
The college has very good infrastructure.....the classrooms are well maintained.....there are two central libraries one for science students and another for arts students moreover each department has their own libraries.....laboratory facility is also very good and labs are well maintained with all necessary instruments.........till now hostel facility is not available but they are trying to provide hostel facilities as soon as possible......free WiFi facilities are available in libraries.
Academics
I studied Bsc Physics hons from Bethune College because the department has very faculties and lab facilities are also very good.Regular classes are held their.The classnotes and assignments that are provided by the teachers are very good.Teachers are very helpful. Seminars are organized by each department.
Placements
There have a career counselling cell which conducts counselling every year.Many well known companies like TCS, Cognizant comes to college to recruit students in their BPS sectors.The salary is about 10,000 to 15,000 per month.
Value for Money
As it is completely government college the fees is very less....the admission fees is around 1500 and for Bsc courses total tuition fees are around 3,500/-(for three years)
Campus Life
The campus life is very good and full of fun.......various cultural programmes are organized by college...students take part in various cultural events.....various dance, singing, quiz, debate competition is organized by the college every year.......college fest is organized in each year by Bethune College student committee
Others
Bethune College is the first women college in Asia.....It is situated in north Kolkata....it is a very reputed women college....Bethune College secured 50th rank nationally in NIRF ranking 2019 under college category.....it provides Msc and MA degree for some courses......If any one want to persue her hons degree course then it is the best place.

The eligibility criteria is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) or equivalent.
(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
(10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University).
