BLDEA’s AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya which was set up in 1955 and is one of the premier Ayurvedic colleges in Vijayapura of Karnataka. This affiliated college recognised by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) offers number of Ayurvedic courses at its 15 acre campus. The institute currently has 299 students and 50 members of staff, giving the institute the right environment for the training of Ayurvedic doctors.
