This college is also known as BVVS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital started in the year of 1998 at Bagalkot, Karnataka. Established on an area of 10 acres, the college has a total student strength of 247 and employs a contingent of 20 teachers. BVVS Ayurveda Medical College is committed to providing quality education in traditional Indian medicine, offering three specialised courses: The BHMS and BAMS, the MD Rasa Shastra and the Bhaishajya Kalpana, as well as the accumulation of knowledge for a MS Shalya Tantra.
Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital provides many facilities aimed at improving academic and personal conditions of learners in the course of study. It is an essential academic library with more than than 12000 books, old ancient literature books and national and international journals . It also incorporates the digital library with internet connection and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences HELINET. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with attached bath, study tables, chairs, and electricity supply and water supply also does not interrupt. • Entrance Exam:- NEET- UG, NEET- UG (National Eligibility- cum- Entrance Test for Undergraduate Programme) is the national-level entrance examination conducted for BAMS admissions all over India. The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. The counselling for the examination is centralised counselling.
• Marks Required:- As per new cut-off for BAMS,
1. students belonging to the General category or unreserved quota are required to score minimum marks of 113.
2. For students under OBC/SC/ST and disabilities quota, the minimum mark required for BAMS is 86.

BVVS ayurveda medical college and hospital bagalkot is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka, Bangalore and recognised by Govt of Karnataka Bangalore & C. C. I. M, New - Dehli . UG course offered here is BAMS (ayurvedacharya). It also offers several PG courses. Admission is through neet exam. Fees is around 9 lac depending on your course. It has both girls and boys hostel including various other facilities.
