CSI Teacher Training Institute for Women, Salem is a women’s only standalone institution located at Hasthampatti, Salem, Tamil Nadu established in 1927. This NAECT recognised institution has been preparing teachers of the future for almost ninety years. Stretched in just 4 acres of land, the institute has a small and intensive campus for its students. Contrary to the name of this institute, it is a co-educational institution which means that boys and girls are free to study here. Now, with having total 45 students and 6 faculty members, the institute is successful in providing a good student teacher ratio which facilitates quality education to its students.
This institute boasts of having developed and provided a variety of learning facilities to cater for the needs of students learning within the institute setting. Available are different hostels for boys and girls for the out station students to enable them have a comfortable place to stay.
