Disha Institute of Management and Technology (DIMT), Raipur, and offers many undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and management. The institute's admission procedure is structured in such a fashion so only the meritorious and deserving students get admission through one of the national-level entrance examinations covering the respective course(s). Approvals have been given to DIMT by the AICTE, while it is affiliated to a university recognized by it. Admission advertisements are generally released during May-June every year for the academic sessions starting during August-September; BE undergraduate engineering programs offer admissions either on the basis of the marks scored in Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. For BE courses, the candidate has to pass High School (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Further, a general minimum aggregate score of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required. The candidate should also hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university for MBA and M.Tech programs.

Application Process

Within the application process, there exists a differentiation as per application protocol based on the program offered:

For BE programs:

1. Attend CG PET and/or JEE Main examination.
2. Register for the counseling process held by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh.
3. Take part in the counseling process and select DIMT and preferred courses.
4. Upon allotment of a seat, report to DIMT for document verification and admission formalities.

For MBA program:

Admission is based on CG PET and/or JEE Main scores, with counseling organized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh.

MBA: The institute offers a full-time MBA program with 270 seats. Candidates must have a valid score in aptitude tests like CMAT, MAT, ATMA, CAT, or XAT. The selection process may include further rounds such as group discussions and personal interviews.

M.Tech: DIMT provides M.Tech programs in Electrical Devices and Power Systems, Information Security, VLSI and Embedded Systems Design, Environmental Engineering, and Production Engineering.
