Application Process

4. Counselling Registration: If a student gets qualified then she/he must fill up counselling form. They would have to make an online submission and need to pay counseling fees.

5. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION Attend with all the documents needed during the document verification process, which includes:

  • JENPAS UG rank card
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
  • Domicile certificate (if appropriate)
  • Category certificates SC/ST/OBC if appropriate
  • Recent passport-size photographs

6. SEAT ALLLOTMENT Seats for candidates are assigned according to rank and preferences set by the candidate as part of the counseling process.

7. Fee Payment: In case seat is allotted to the candidate, he/she is required to pay the admission fee for confirmation of seat.

8. Reporting at Institute: Following seat allotment and payment of fee, candidate is required to report to Disha Nursing Institute, Bishnupur, for final admission formalities.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Nursing: The B.Sc. Nursing program at Disha Nursing Institute has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission to this program is based on the candidate's performance in the JENPAS UG examination. It is to be noted that both male and female candidates are eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses in private colleges under JENPAS UG-2023, whereas only female candidates are eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses in government colleges. Counseling and seat allocation will be done based on the rank of JENPAS UG.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): Disha Nursing Institute also has an approved intake of 60 students in the GNM program. There is no specific information regarding admission for the GNM program; however, most probably candidates are admitted to the GNM program based on performance in the JENPAS UG exam. The candidates should be male or female for GNM nursing programs.
