Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy Bhandara was set up in 2019 and therefore the new pharmacy college in India. This is a pharmacy institution situated in Mauza Kosra Tah Pauni, Bhandara, Maharashtra. Its main mission is to produce the next generation of skilled pharmacists. Also, being an affiliated college, it is under the umbrella of the following set and recognised education systems. The college is fully accredited by the Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education to provide the degrees as per PCI standards. The college has a student population of 14 and a faculty of 27 that enable the college to deliver a personalised educational experience that boasts a fantastically low student-to-faculty ratio.

Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy is well endowed with basic infrastructure that could be helpful in the college education of the students. Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy, Bhandara is a rather new institution in the production of skilled pharmacists. Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy requires admission through typical general prerequisites for pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra. The main test accepted for admissions is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, commonly known as MHT CET. The MHT CET for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group is scheduled to be held on April 8, 2025, in online mode.

For admission to the pharmacy programs, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. The college offers two main pharmacy programs: a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). Both programs have an intake capacity of 60 students each, creating ample opportunities for aspiring pharmacists.

Application Process

The application process followed at the Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy, Bhandara, is as follows:

1. MHT CET examination: Online registration and taking of the MHT CET exam. It is generally held in the month of April.

2. MHT CET Application: Subsequently, they also have an MHT CET application form wherein one needs to fill all their details correctly on the official website and upload other necessary documents as well.

3. Admit Card: Collect the MHT CET admit card, which is issued several weeks in advance of the exams.

5. Result and Counseling: After announcement of result by MHT CET, the qualified candidates will become liable for central admission in CAP to the Maharashtra Pharmacy colleges.

B.Pharma This is a four-year undergraduate programme that comes under Dr. Arun Motghare College of Pharmacy. The intake and admission procedure are solely on the basis of marks secured in the MHT CET examination. The sanctioned strength under the B.Pharma programme is 60 seats. Those students who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can apply for it.

D.Pharma - The college offers D.Pharma, a two-year course. As with B.Pharma, admissions to this D.Pharma are also expected to be conducted on the basis of MHT CET merit. Similarly, 60 seats are approved for the college in this respect too. Eligibility is usually completion of 10+2 in the sciences with specific subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
