Ph.D Computer Science at Dr NGP Arts and Science College, Coimbatore Offline Course

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

FULL - TIME: A candidate registered as a full-time scholar for the Ph.D. program must possess the qualifications and shall work continuously in the Department under the supervisor for a minimum period of THREE YEARS from the date of registration recognized to submit the thesis.

PART - TIME: A candidate registered for a Ph.D. program under part-time category must possess any one of the qualifications and must work for a minimum period of FOUR YEARS from the date of registration recognized to submit the thesis. Exemption of one year from the minimum duration period is permissible in respect of candidates who already possess an M Phil degree at the time of registration.
