Farooqia Women’s Polytechnic, Mysore being an affiliated college was set up in 1992 in Mysore, Karnataka. This women’s university is also recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to show its dedication to imparting technical education. The polytechnic occupies a small piece of land of about two acres, and offers three dipoma courses with a total enrolment of 34 students. Institute has a faculty of 14 professional teachers who can equally focus on each student and his/ her needs. The institution of Farooqia Women’s Polytechnic is actually focused on Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology to cater the need of young woman engineers in different technical fields.

Farooqia Women’s Polytechnic has Three diploma Programmes offered for, which are full time programmes, each spanning three years. The diploma courses offered are: Diploma in Computer Science Engineering. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Diploma in Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology.
