About GEC Goa
Established in the year 1967, Goa College of Engineering Farmagudi is a reputed institute located at Farmagudi, Ponda, Goa. The Goa College of Engineering has a faculty of 95 members. Currently, the GCE Goa offers programmes at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The GCE Goa is a government-recognised college that offers courses in the streams of engineering and architecture.
At the undergraduate level, the BE courses are offered in eight disciplines, and the ME programme at GCE Goa is offered in ten different specialisations. Admission in the BE programme at GEC Goa is made based on previous academic scores and the GCET score. Admission in the ME programme at the Goa College of Engineering Farmagudi is made based on the GATE scores and rank.
Goa College of Engineering provides placement assistance to both the UG and PG programme students. College Infrastructure
College infrastructure pretty good but there is plenty of space laptop which can be used for further development of sports pitches but the workshops are equipped with new machines they are planning to build a new blog for the VLSI department and the lapse for the workshop are well equipped with modern technology and circuit components.

the infrastructure is old but pretty well maintained. It has all the necessary facilities needed such as a canteen, library, hostels, general stores, printing shops, etc. it also has a lot of open space and grounds.

Yes,it is possible to transfer directly to 2nd year at MSRIT of you have completed your first year. You might need to pay the full fees of four years engineering at your current college, if your college demands so and you also need to have influential contacts to change your college.
You can also opt for student exchange program,which means a student from MSRIT wants to transfer to Goa College of engineering then you can take his seat.
