Master of Science (M.Sc) in Statistics is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the University of Calicut, Malappuram.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have at least 50% marks in Statistics/Applied Statistics (Main)/Mathematics & Statistics (Double Main)/Mathematics (Main) with Statistics as one of the subsidiaries in the B.Sc. Degree of this University or an equivalent. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to pass.

Admission Details

Admission to the MSc programme starts in August every year. All candidates seeking admission to PG programmes must register through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of the University of Calicut. Admissions to programmes that come under the purview of Centralised Allotment are conducted through Centralised Allotment. Selection/allotment of a candidate will be based on the index mark, priority given by the candidate, and availability of seats.
