Government Degree College Budaun, also known as GDC Budaun, is one of the oldest and most recognisable colleges, founded in 2004. Affiliated to Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, it was established in 1977 at Awas Vikas, Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. It has been catering for the need for Higher Education in the region for almost two decades. GDC Budaun has a total of nearly 1936 students enrolled and faculties of 20 and The college offers a broad spectrum of academic disciplines. The college offers 10 courses through 5 degree programmes for arts, commerce and sciences streams. Being an institution of government, it is in a central position of ensuring students in Budaun and around areas access high education.

The college is affiliated with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
