Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Bhopal: Situated at Bairasia, Bhopal – established in 1986, Government of Madhya Pradesh is an existing institution well known for imparting education in the state. This affiliated college situated on a 10 acre vast area has been growing and delivering higher education for more than 33 years. The college has a total intake capacity of 1,818 and faculty of 10; it provide a wide array of under graduate and post graduate courses. In as much as the institutional reputation it boasts of a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) certification. In all the four degrees offered in the college the six courses cut across all the disciplines of learning and career paths.

The college has many amenities that will facilitate the learning process of the students in the college. It has got individual departmental laboratories which help student practical practicals and training oriented experiences which are vital in the scientific disciplines. Degree wise Admission Process

BA- The college offers Arts programs at the undergraduate level. Admission into this program is meritbased on the candidate's 10+2 results. To promote diversity, any student from another stream can apply for this course, which provides a broad-based education in humanities and social sciences.

B.Com- In the selection of candidates for the Bachelor of Commerce program, preference is given to candidates who have completed their 10+2 with commerce. The selection is on the basis of qualifying examination marks.

B.Sc- Government Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya offers two main B.Sc programs:
a) B.Sc in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology
b) B.Sc in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics

To be eligible for admission to these programs, students need to have completed their 10+2 with science subjects. The merit for selection is determined based on the student's 10+2 scores, particularly in the relevant science subjects.

B.Com Computer Applications- This specialized commerce program combines traditional commerce subjects with computer applications. Admission is based on 10+2 results, with preference given to students who have studied commerce and computer subjects.

M.Com- For the Master of Commerce course, candidates must hold a B.Com or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Admission is generally on the basis of marks secured in the Bachelor's degree examination; however, some colleges may conduct an entrance test/interview for candidates.
