The Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute Ludhiana was established in the year 1997 in Punjab India offers the best Ayurvedic education. Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Institute has numerous facilities that are intended to improve the learning environment for the institute’s learners. Some of these are having astral facilities for the students including having distinct hostels for the boys and the girls so that they can spend most of their time in books. College has provided books and journals and ,internet browsing place in the purpose of meeting the students need. In as per the need of the physical health, the campus has a state of art gym and playground area for outdoor games and sports. It also has a health centre not only for first aid but also to keep students were in good state health-wise. Further, it has equipped with sophisticated laboratories, an auditorium facility for conducting seminars, conferences etc., and a cafeteria for serving foods.

This College, Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Institute, has only one full time course which is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This is an extensive course that takes 5 years and 6 months in order to give the students adequate understanding of Ayurveda. The course has an intake capacity of 60 students and cost implication of the whole programme comes to Rs. 9.90 lakhs only. Entrance to the Guru Nanak Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Institute is through the eligibility cum entrance test-NEET. The management of seats in the institute follows the norms that are provided by Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur. While half of the total seat number are available for the government quota, the other half comes under management quota. This course has an annual intake of 60 students.
