Haritima, NSS Hansraj, Garden Committee & IIC organised vertical plantation drive on June 5, 2025.
I like the infrastructure of Hansraj college. The classrooms of the college are well maintained and ventilated also. I really like that the college also has a free wifi connection for the students to do research work. The college's canteen has also been renovated and it is really really good.
I am pursuing BA Economics Hons. in the college and I must say that the teachers are highly educated and friendly. The teachers take regular lectures but also give one or two free periods when the class is not in a mood to study.
There is a separate placement cell of Hansraj which makes the placement process seamless. A large number of companies visit Hansraj to recruit their employees. The average package lands between 5 to 7 lakhs per annum.
The college charges a very minimal amount of fees for its courses and provides you a great number of facilities thus it is a value for money.
The college provides a large number of opportunities through their societies. The campus life is amazing as it is situated in the north campus which also has different Delhi University colleges nearby.
Hansraj college is great place to have fun and to achieve great heights. Teachers don't focus only on studies, they prefer students to grow their personality. Enjoying is one of key part of college life. Also you can't miss college elections and annual fest.
I studies B.Com Honours. Teachers are world class, fun and knowledgeable at the same time. Various activities in class make you job ready directly or indirectly. College life teaches most of the things to student which make them ready for different challenges that lie ahead.
Placement is one of the best part of north campus. Almost every college offer great placement. Hansraj college has 100 percent placement in general. Highest package was 14 LPA and average package was 5 LPA.
One of the best thing of Government college is that they are best and cheap, so is Hansraj. It cost me around 13 grand per year for the course. Also books was available in library for while semester. It is totally worth it when it comes to value you pay.
College life is best thing. It has everything what student needs to enjoy his/her life. There is strict rule for some of things due to principal. However everyone ignores what she says and enjoy. There are different sports which one can participate in.
It is overall package what a student can expect.
Hansraj is one of the premiere institute in india . It has a good hostel maintenance and there are two labs in a week for undergraduates 4+4 hours. It's living spaces are clean and the canteen food is extremely good .
Hansraj is good in academic as well . It has a good faculty . You can ask personal doubts to the proffessors . Even you can call or whatsapp to any proffessor . Hansraj is a part of du so a regular semester exam is carried out.
I'm a Physics honours student so can't say more about placement. But it has a placement cell where many opportunities are discussed and if you choose a non academic course then placement chances are high.
Great value of money they utilise every single minutes.
Teachers are very helpful , and I can't say more about college life because classes are online.
If want a good academic Hansaraj is best.
the overall infrastructure is good, even better than other DU college. But new toilets are very much needed and renovation of the old one is needed and maintenance of them ..............................
Teachers are good, their academic qualifications are excellent. But I believe the teaching pattern can be improved, few teachers do try to give 100% output and improvise their method, but most of the teacher follows the old way
Excellent placement records, many big-name do come on campus, even during the pandemic time many companies came for the placement and rolled out excellent job offers. Till the end, most of the students are placed (those who wanted the placement, because many go for further education)
They charge very minimalistic fees, I finished my entire graduation in less than 50K, which is very less as compared to the price of other college and courses. So yes, college is worth money.......
Campus life is great, it's safe for everyone, I think if any student come into DU and stay on the campus I think the exposure they will get and the memory they will create staying on campus is the best
It's a great college, you will get great exposure and an opportunity to interact with India's most intellectual people.
College has great infrastructure. Labs and classrooms are well equipped. Whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity. There's a huge library. Classes are air conditioned. There's a canteen which provides both south Indian and north Indian dishes. College is always maintained well.
Am an economics student. It's a really good course. Department has highly qualified teachers who have deep subject knowledge. They are always ready to help. The curriculum is updated frequently. It's really helpful for acquiring jobs.
An efficient placement cell is working in college. Students from economics and bcom hons get the maximum placements. Average CTC is about 6 lakhs per annul. Placement process is very easy. All we need is a good CV.
The college fee is really affordable. Money we pay is really worthy.
Really decent campus life. Students will get a chance to know about various cultures and can meet students from different states
Hansraj College has a very good Infrastructure right from classrooms to the canteen, sports Centre.Library is well equipped with wide range of sources and good conditions to read ,sports room provides good quality equipment and canteens are also well located with a wide range of food varieties. There are few classrooms which infrastructure is up to the mark .
Hansraj’s academics can be considered as one of the best part. As a History student, I can speak the exposure to academics is outstanding with initiatives such as the Heritage walks, workshops, seminars in regular intervals makes and guidance from the authorities makes academics interesting.
Hansraj and with placement cell works with great interest which provides students to achieve excellence in their career and jobs. Apart of placement there are large opportunities in Internships which makes students well qualified for a works.
The college course fee is around 18000 which I feel is pretty well valued. The infrastructure, academics and conditions for the students are well planned and implemented which makes Hansraj a better place for students .
Campus life in Hansraj is outstanding with various societies in college such as Vision - the media society, Kavayanjali, kalakriti, oorja, Haritma, NSS, WDC and for a fact many more options makes students exposed to various fields of work and makes more interactive. Staff and authorities also are supportive in nature. As it is easily approachable from the main road.
The college has AC classrooms and a well maintained library. The college does have a Wi-Fi, however it is not in use as of now. The canteen serves good quality food at affordable prices. Sports equipments are easily accessible to everyone. The college also has a gym inside the premises.
Teachers are well educated. The teaching methods are simple and understandable, that's why most of the students get scholarships from our college. The teaching quality is very good because our college trusties recruit good teachers who understand the problems of students and teach them well.
1. Around 60% of the students who applied for placements were placed in varied companies. 2. The highest salary: 16.5-17lpa; the lowest salary: 2lpa; average salary: 4.5-5lpa 3. Big4, BCC were the top recruiting companies for our course. 4. Analysts, Research associates roles were mainly offered for our course 6. Internship scenario started well very recently. And most students interned off campus.
Neat maintainance of college. Greenery everywhere. Canteen food is very hygienic. Well maintainance of library and sports ground. Benches and blackboards are well equipped. A healthy atmosphere for a student to study well.
Hansraj college curriculum is awesome, but lecturers need to be more regular especially for ba programme classes. Method of teaching is very comfortable and easily understandable for outstation students too.
Need more placements for some departments. Heard they placements for existing departments was awesome. Getting high packages really makes students and parents happy.i have no idea about the packages and the exact salaries but heard that they were interesting.
I feel it's worthy.
Great infrastructure and campus looks clean and tidy always. There will be greenery in college surroundings. There are many societies in college which helps a student to enjoy their college life to the fullest and to shape into a complete person.
The college has been Beautifully constructed with parks, play grounds, canteens , library etc. It has an Air conditioned seminar hall fed with audio-visual facilities with a seating capacity of more than 120 people. the college also provides with Hostel facilities for boys for almost 200 students. Classrooms are well designed with projectors installed in every one of them . it has library divided into 4 sections with more than 135000 titles to its name.
I enrolled myself in the course of Honors in Bachelor of Commerce because i was from commerce stream and that is the best UG course. The teachers were a mix of young and experienced people with immense knowledge and unique teaching style. The curriculum was well updated.
The college has its own placement cell which aims in getting all students in different companies. I had a very great experience and insight regarding the placement of the college as I got the chance for an interview with the top most companies
The college fest and the north campus life with a bunch of young and energetic fellows is worth living and luckily I have experienced this with my time in HansRaj college.
Yes , Hansraj college has good infrastructure and it is well maintained and hygienic too...! Our College has well furnished AC libraries and classrooms with white board and projecter facilities too....!Our is one of the best hostels in delhi university and I'm sure u will enjoy there like me.The menu in hostel mess include banana, milk shake in breakfast and weekly thrice chicken and twice egg .so in the city like delhi having good meal is harder but if ur hansraj hosteller u don't want to worry.
I'm Studying B.A.(h) economics bcse I love economics.Teachers are really very excellent and highly qualified ,who had graduated from top universities in the world. And finally it's up to you how u utilise them ,they won't force u to learn U should have a keen interest to learn and clarify ur doubt and have healthy conversation with them.
The quality of placements is good in our college .Around 300-350 students are being placed every year and highest package is 18L pa and the average is 3-4L pa ...and Mostly the students from bcom, economics and computer science are placed.if u want to go for placement u can join the societies like internship cell, comsoc, and ecosoc and develop the skills u required for the placement.
My course fees is 20 thousand per anum.yes, I feel it's cost worthy compared to other private or government institutions.
Our campus is green and had many trees. Our clge has around 35-40 societies include ncc, nss, sports, dance, drawing, drama, northeast, debating, quizzing etc .so one can join whatever they like and the teachers will be very supportive and every society has one teacher as its convenor. The campus is safe where no one can't enter without I'd card in the campus and it has two gates which can handle any emergencies too.The location will be great and many series and movie shooting will happen in our campus .
Our clge will give more imp to Hindi and Hindutva idealogy as our principal is from Hindi department..And we don't have any representatives for South indians here like SRCC and hindu. The other thing is more conservative Than other clges .....the worst fest in North campus is hansraj clge fest only, where the fest will done by 6pm but in other clges the fest will start by 6pm.and I think the student union is not strong as other clges like hindu.
Greetings! Here's a detailed response to your query
Okay, so you want to know when you can apply for the MA Hindi program at Hansraj College for 2025. Here's the deal in simple terms:
Hansraj College is part of Delhi University (DU). For all its postgraduate courses, including MA Hindi, DU now uses the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs) for admissions.
The application process for CUET PG 2025 has already closed. The application window was open earlier this year. The CUET PG exams themselves were held from March 13, 2025, to April 1, 2025.
So, unfortunately, you have missed the window to apply for the MA Hindi program at Hansraj College through the CUET PG for the 2025 academic year.
What you can do now is to prepare for the next academic year (2026). Keep an eye on the official websites of Delhi University (admission.uod.ac.in) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in or cuet.nta.nic.in) for updates regarding the CUET PG 2026 application dates, eligibility criteria, and other important information. Typically, the application process starts around February or March each year.
It's also a good idea to check the Hansraj College website ( https://www.hansrajcollege.ac.in/ ) for any specific announcements regarding their MA Hindi admissions for the upcoming sessions.
Yes, you will get admission to Hansraj College without mathematics but there are some courses in which mathematics is mandatory like - B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Electronics, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Physics. So you can not take admission in these courses.
You can check all other details from the given link-

Hy,
Hansraj College, part of Delhi University, does not offer a BBA course . Instead, it is known for courses such as B.Com (Hons), BA, and B.Sc. If you're interested in B.Com (Hons) , mathematics is typically required as a subject in your 12th grade . For instance, to pursue B.Com (Hons) at Hansraj College, you need at least 50% marks in mathematics or business mathematics along with other core subjects like commerce or economics.
However, for general courses like B.A. (Hons) or certain other non-science courses, maths may not be compulsory. Therefore, it depends on the specific program you're applying for.
If you want to pursue a course related to business without maths, you may need to consider other colleges or courses within Delhi University that might not have such stringent math requirements.
