Yes it is possible but only under certain conditions :-

  • As per Indian labour Laws the normal limit is 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week
  • Private hospitals are also bound by these labour laws

So yes you can work 8 hours with reduced salary in a private hospital if it is a formal contractual arrangement and follows minimum wage laws. Without proper documentation you may risk losing protections
