RAVENS, is one of the premier institutions for management education in Chhattisgarh in India, which started its journey in 1993 in the city of Raipur. Spread over a vast area of 302 acres, the institute finds its accreditation from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute has 5 faculties and thus offers 3 programs in the Management field.

There are classrooms in many parts of the campus with smart boards as a great preparation for teaching that uses information, communication, and technology, better known as ICT. The library is a vast storehouse of information, which includes all kinds of information needed for reference and research. The institute also provides sophisticated lab facilities, well-equipped IT labs, and the latest technologies in management education. Sporting activities are catered for by the sports fields, while the campus has a fully fitted auditorium that can accommodate one hundred persons during events and seminars. The institute also has hostel facilities for both boys and girls to accommodate outstation students, thus providing them with a comfortable stay. The Institute of Management has provided a comprehensive list of management programmes to meet all educational needs.

The institute's academic portfolio includes three full-time courses. MBA, Master of Philosophy in Management, and Doctor of Philosophy in Management. The MBA as a flagship programme has an approved enrolment capacity of 60, while the M.Phil. has an approved enrolment of only 10 seats. The Ph.D. programme is for higher research in the field of management, and it has enrolment in any semester depending on its research aptitude and number of supervisors.

The program of admission of students to the Institute of Management is aimed at choosing the best candidates for the programs implemented at the institute. In accordance with the MBA programme, it admits the scores of the following national-level entrance tests conducted by other institutes, such as CAT, Common Admission Test, CMAT: Common Management Admission Test, MAT: Management Aptitude Test, and ATMA.
