72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology Self-Finance program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a pass (55%) in the required PG / M.Phil degree.
Admission Details
Admission is made purely on the basis of merit. The 50% of the seats are given to the minorities and remaining 50% of the seats are allocated as per the reservation rules of state government.
