Jagannath Barooah College, Jorhat Admission
Jagannath Barooah College, Jorhat offers admissions into the programmes at two distinct levels. JB College admissions into UG programmes are given based on merit or CUET UG scores whereas JB College PG admissions are given based on the Jagannath Barooah College Post Graduate Entrance Test (JBCPGET).
20% of the total JB College Jorhat seats will be filled up from CUET and the remaining 80% will be filled up directly by the College. Selected candidates shall have to enrol themselves in their respective streams and classes on specified dates notified by the college authority.

Online application forms are accepted from the students who meet the JB College eligibility criteria.

JB College admission forms shall be issued by the college, which will have to be filled up and submitted within a specified date declared by the college authority. At JB College I have access to neat and clean classrooms, library and great sport facilities making it easy for me to focus on my studies and enjoy college life, the campus feels safe and secure with friendly staff.

College Infrastructure
JB college Jorhat is a prestigious college with a history of it that gives a light/hope to the student. The infrastructure here are to the good in condition, with a healthy and friendly environment around it. The classrooms are better, along with laboratory, library facilities also sports centre and hostel.

To get admission in BA English Hons at JB University the following is the criteria:
1) Minimum 65 percent aggregate score in higher secondary.
2) Minimum 75 percent in English alone.
3) The candidate has to appear in an entrance test conducted by the university
