JCE Nadia: It has only been four academic years since the inception of Jatindra Mohan College of Education, Nadia to shape up the future of education and training in the region. Its a co Educational college situated in Haripur Aarabpur, Nadia District in the state of West Bengal and the college occupies a small area of land of about 1.2892 acres. Through its affiliation, it has received accreditation from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to undertake quality teacher education. Currently, the institute teaches two post graduate and two doctorate courses in the field of education for a total of 382 students with a faculty of 72.
This college provide several amenities which are intended to enrich students education activities. Resource center : A well stocked library is a vital resource for any institution and ours provides a central source of information. Information Technology : Students are exposed to moderntechniques in learning by the well equipped it facilities.
There is an auditorium for occasions for instance seminars boosting the academic environment in the campus. Jatindra Mohan College of Education offers two full-time courses: B. Ed and D. Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) both courses are of two years duration. Each program also has an approved intake of one hundred students each, making up a total of two hundred students each year. The rationale for these courses is to impart knowledge and skills that would enable individuals seeking to teach to do so effectively. It can be easily said that the college specializes in teacher education manifested by its curriculum and embodied by its PDP approach.
