KMCT College of Teacher Education for Women was established in 2005 and is progressing quickly in the city of Kozhikode, Kerala. KMCT College of Teacher Education offers two full-time courses: a two-year B. An Ed course with intakes of 100 students and a year's Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course with 50 students. These programmes are intended to provide what students need to become effective teachers in classrooms. 

The entrance test into KMCT College of Teacher Education requires the candidate to have scores in the qualifying examination and/ or the entrance examination to qualify for admission.
