Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is in Pitampura ,  is a private college affiliated to ggsipu .

The college admits students through CLAT ranking and also has a management quota.

BA LLB course fee is about 4.47 lakh

The College has best placement as well as internship programme.

4.5 Lacs is the highest package, 3 Lacs is the average and 2.5 Lacs is the lowest package offered.

The college has good labs, library, clean grounds and canteen also but with no hostel facilities.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) was established in 2003  and is also a private college.

The highest salary package offered is somewhat around 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA.

Top recruiters are Jaro Education, Leverage Edu, etc

The College campus is big as well as the facilities are good.

In my opinion maims is good for placement as well as internship .

But as both are affiliated to ggsipu the opportunities offered to students would be equally same.

According to your have statement you have got GGSIPU counselling for BBA in Maharaja Institute of Management studies New Delhi. But you want to float if you get a better college than that of. The rules said that you have to pay  as you have got MAIMS, you have to pay  the seat allocation fees if you I want to float  for the choice of college. Again the second round you want to get another college for admission in in BBA then you have to pay the certain amount of for seat allocation fees again.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is good in academic structure but not so good placements wise.

All the facilities and faculty of the college is good but not up to the par .

It is the best college among ipu overall Institutes.

The college also offers Scholarship for meritorious students .

Whereas JIMS is a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The infrastructure at JIMS is well designed and has all the best facilities.

Though this College has average placement but in small campus it offers good faculty and environment for education.

in my opinion JIMS is better college for you.

According to last year's cut off by rank for Maharaja Agrasen institute of management studies, your chances to get admission for B.Com hons. is very high both in 1st shift and 2nd shift.

Last year's cut off ranks for General category candidates for B.Com hons. was 1454 (first round) and 2831 (for second round). Cut offs may vary slightly year to year. But as you have ranked much lesser than the actual cut off your chances are high.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that IP University is a state governed university so there is a reservation of 85% for Delhi students. Also, the cutoffs vary on the basis of category such as General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwD, Defence Quota. Assuming you are Delhi general category student, you have fairly good chances of getting VIPS or MAIMS based on the previous year cutoffs. Yes, but not all the colleges. It completely depends upon the college which you choose. There are college who will organize based on the request of students. And there are other set of colleges who will never allow for a trip. But for sure you will have factory visit if you are a part of an engineering college.
