36 MonthsBachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Mahatma Gandhi Government Arts College, Chalakkara and affiliated to Pondicherry University, Puducherry.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking to these courses should have passed and secured a minimum of 50% marks. For OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT candidates, the minimum mark is 45%. There is no minimum % of marks for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Physically challenged candidates; only a pass in the relevant subject is required. Those who apply for BA Malayalam (BA Hindi) should have studied Malayalam (Hindi) as one of the subjects in their HSC or equivalent.

Selection of Candidates for admission to all the Degree courses will be based on the Merit list prepared by the college.
