36 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Respiratory Therapy Lateral Entry is a three-Years Full-Time Undergraduate course and offered by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal.
BSc Respiratory Therapy (BSc RT) was started in 1995 by School of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal. The program was established under the initial guidance and direction from the School of Allied Health Professions, Loma Linda University, California, USA. SOAHS initiated this 4-year degree course consisting of 3 years of course work and 1 year of clinical rotations (internship).
Eligibility Criteria
BSc RT: 3 years of Diploma in Respiratory Therapy after 10th with 50% marks in aggregate OR 2 years of Diploma in Respiratory Therapy after 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate in Diploma and at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2 For those who are pursuing bachelor course elsewhere and seeking admission to BSc RT in Manipal, admission will be based on the transfer of credit. Candidates have to obtain prior approval before applying. Note: All of them will have to complete core programs whenever available during the academic year.
