Mannai Rajagopalaswamy Government Arts College, Mannargudi (MRGAC) is the third oldest Arts college founded in the year 1971. This affiliated college is situated in Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu and the college is spread over a 40 acres land. NAAC has accredited MRGAC for its concern and investment in offering quality education through its accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college provides a total of 27 courses spread across the nine degrees offered to the total enrolment of 3,187 students. Having a total of 1 members on its faculty, MRGAC has a better student-faculty ratio. 

To improve the experience for students, MRGAC has a well-equipped array of amenities it delivers to the students. It also has a functional library meaning that the college provides the student with good study materials. Every department has its own laboratories with modern instruments to facilitate practical knowledge in almost all fields. An auditorium is a hall in which courses, seminars and cultural events take place and contributes to the campus activity.
