MIMS – Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences Manipal was founded in 1940 and is ranked amongst the premier applied Ayurvedic colleges. An auditorium is used for occasions and lectures and a canteen provides meals for consumption by students and employees.

BAMS: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is the primary undergraduate program offered at MIMS.
