Nayagarh Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) is a BPUT Rourkela affiliated and was founded in 2010 at Nayagarh, Odisha. This affiliated college recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) of India provides a number of diploma courses in various fields of engineering. With an aggregate of 82 students and 29 faculty members, NIET offers a special opportunity for concentrated study. The institute, located at Vidya Vihar Panipoila,Nayagarh-752069 is a co-educational technical institution which aims to provide technical education of the highest quality.

The available facilities that NIET has include a rich variety with an intention of improving the student learning environment and achievement. Amenities of the campus include; The campus provided different hostels for male and female students in order to give a comfortable home for students from different parts of the country. A well stocked library is an important efforts of making students smarter since it is resource center of knowledge. We can see that the institute is devoted to technology by having a brilliant IT facility and computer center. It also has well-equipped laboratories for each department as well as to meet the condition NIET also has modern and professional laboratories for students of every department to practice on equipments. 

In total there are four diploma programmes that is offered at the institute; All the diploma programmes are full time programmes which take a period of three academic years to complete.
