Palaspai Raja Rammohan College of Education, Hooghly, was founded in the year 2016. This co-educational college is located in Hayatpur, West Bengal. As an affiliated college, it received approval from NCTE to conduct some specific courses in education. The total enrolment of students in the college is 300, while the faculty strength is 16, thus offering a focused learning environment. The institute offers two regular degree courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed, with 50 seats in each. 

Located in a rural setting, it has the purpose of taking care of the educational needs of the future teachers of the locality. A well-equipped library is provided on campus, which becomes a necessity to support the various processes of academic research and study. Sports are also facilitated on campus to encourage physical fitness and other allied relaxations. This limitation in the number of specialization courses allows the institution to concentrate and impart quality education to students in the field of teacher training.
