Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: Admission to the MBBS program-of 150 approved seats-at the Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences is strictly based on the merit rank of the candidate in the NEET examination. All applicants must qualify in the NEET examination for admission through counselling conducted by the State Medical Authority.
MD Anaesthesiology: The approved intake for this postgraduate program is 5 seats. Candidates seeking admission must be NEET PG qualified. Admission is based on counseling held as per NEET PG scores.
MD General Medicine: This program has 5 approved seats and requires candidates to hold a recognized MBBS or equivalent degree. The admission to this program is through performance on NEET PG.
MS Orthopaedics: 5 seats are available for this postgraduate surgical course. Candidates for admission must be PG qualified according to NEET.
MS General Surgery: Similar to other postgraduate programs, MS General Surgery has an intake of 5 seats, with admission awarded to NEET PG qualified candidates.
MD Paediatrics: 3 seats are granted for this special postgraduate program. The candidate has to qualify NEET PG for consideration of admission.
MD Psychiatry: This program has 3 seats available, requiring candidates to qualify NEET PG for admission consideration.
