Rajas Dental College and Hospital Kavalkinaru (RDCAHK) is a renowned dental college that started in 1987. This affiliated college is in the city of Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. Currently, RDCAHK provides a total of 8 courses, of which students can pursue an undergraduate and postgraduate programme. The premier five-and-a-half-year undergraduate program is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, which has a total intake capacity of 100. In its postgraduate programme, the college has the following specialisations of Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S), prosthetics and crown and bridge, conservative dentistry, endodontics, periodontology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics, oral and maxillofacial pathology and microbiology, and oral medicine and radiology.
The entry requirement to RDCAHK depends on national entrance tests for higher education institutions. The BDS programme for admissions is regulated by the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Board of Examinations. Like PG admissions, the NEET-MDS governs admissions to MDS programmes as well, which has replaced the MDS common entrance test previously existing in the country.

The cut offs are not separately made for endodontics and prosthodontics, rather for overall MDS the cut offs are made.
