Hy kahar,
You have scored 233 marks in NEET this year and you want to get government seat in bhms or BAMS. Dear your score is not so good this. But have to go for the counselling for getting admission. So prepare a list of colleges of yours and go for counselling on that colleges.
Hope you understand

Hi Tanmay.
Unfortunately a score like 256 is not upto the mark for securing a private BAMS seat. Since you have not mentioned your category , I assume that you belong to General category. And that makes it even more difficult for you. In the all India Quota a candidate needs 480-490 score to secure a government seat. When it comes to private colleges the cutoff is lower but still it is lower than 340 . However the cutoff may vary and since this course has been added to neet only recently it is difficult to find the exact cutoff score.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!!
Hello,
The admission to BAMS occur through score of NEET. You should qualify in NEET. This is 50 percentile for General category, 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC categories. You have to register for counselling and based on your score seat will be alloted to you. NEET is now conducted twice a year and also when compared to M.B.B.S. BAMS has more seats and is not so tough as is M.B.B.S. Please visit https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/bams for detailed information.
Hi,
Frankly speaking your score is bit less for any good government bds college. A score above 300 is considered. But this year seeing the rise in score and ranks we may expect a rise in this score too. You may get a private college seat if you want but government seat has less chances. Don't lose hope. Try to score better so that you can get a government college.
Hope for the Best.
Good Luck!
Hi,
Frankly speaking, your rank is too high for getting into some good government college. Even for bams this year a slight rise in score and ranks comparison to last year is expected. So there is less chance. But still don't lose heart completely. Go for counselling and see what comes up. And if you like you can study again and score better. Just keep on working hard.
Good Luck!
