At these marks there is no chance to get admission in any govt medical college of India bcz you don't come in the merit list bcz the merit will be prepared this year on 542 marks and you don't cleard for merit list at these marks you can apply for private medical college for bams course for more details please use our app for college prediction hope you understand please upvote it

I am sorry to tell you but 170 marks is very low for obc category , so you will not get a seat neither in government medical college, nor in private medical colleges or also not in BAMS .

Well 292 is a less score for getting into any good government college. Till last year for bams minimum marks students required were 300. This year this score is likely to increase too. So there is less chance but still we don't have 100% authorised information whether you will get a government college or not. But don't lose heart. Marks have gone up and ranks have shuffled. If you like you can try to get score better and get better score. Just don't get disheartened and keep working hard. Good luck!

To obtain admission in MBBS colleges the applicant needs to obtain the NEET qualifying percentile or NEET qualifying score. The NEET qualifying score is the minimum percentile that if needed to be achieved in order to gain admission to any medical college by passing the examination. For this each category has their own percentile.
1- unreserved category : 50% that is 701-134 scores
2- physically handicapped : 45% that is 133-120 scores
3- scheduled caste : 40% that is 133-107 scores
4- scheduled tribe : 40% that is 133-107 scores
5- other backward classes : 40% that is 133-107 scores
6- scheduled caste - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores
7- scheduled tribe - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores
8- other backward classes - physically handicapped : 40% that is 133-107 scores
In case of government medical colleges you need to achieve a certain cutoff that these government colleges state which is different from one college to another. The colleges state these cutoffs after the result is declared and the cutoffs vary on basis of certain factors
1- number of sanctioned seats
2- all over performance of the applicants in the NEET examination
3- the number of applicants to the college
4- the category to which the applicant belongs to
5- and of course the previous years cutoff marks.
According to these the colleges decide on their cutoffs and to know these you might want to get in touch with the specific colleges and their authorities and enquire the same. You can use the following link to get information about the states and their government college cutoffs -

It totally depends on your category and the state you're expecting to take admission in. A safe score to get a seat in all India level should be 400 least. But if you have a decent rank in your state or state you're willing to apply , you can consider a good probability of getting a seat. Apply for counselling, and keep your hopes up. ~ good luck!
