The college is quiet good but you can go for better
College Infrastructure
So the college has all the necessary infrastructure, the campus is nice. The classrooms are big enough, and has like 2 fans and 2 mini fans or table fans, the classrooms are spacious, their is a big library for studying, which provides all the books related to academics, the sitting in the library is very comfortable for studying and the silence is well maintained. The free wifi is also provided with minimum of 4 ac's . The girls hostel is right behind the college, though it doesn't really meet up to the expectation and there is still a lot that can be changed but it is still comfortable enough.
Academics
I'm studying computer engineering. To be honest teaching us really good, the preparation for the university exams are so good and up to date. But they give more attention to theory papers when preparing for coding or developing skills is the most important factor, so students really don't get enough time to develope a skill because of the college schedule .
Placements
The placements are really good. I guess 5 to 7 out of 12 or 13 students are places successfully, with average package around 10 lakhs, placement rate is really nice and the packages are really average as not so many companies are associated

When it came about infrastructure there is no specific issue at all. Although the management of every buliding is very nice. When we talk about the quality that they provide is best among all the college over there.

All the facilities are very good. Most professor have great knowledge about the subjects. And the interaction and way to adress things are much better than I expecting. From all these years faculties helps as a lot.

Coming to placement is also good.but one thing is that if you don't have knowledge and practice and training in that particular field you are, won't be able to get any placement over here, that also right that the person who deserve they get.
Expect stress on academics and less focus on other things.

It lives upto my expectations and it does feels like there are certain areas of improvement, mainly concerning the field of extra curriculars and other activities. The food in the canteen is good and the washroom in our building, BCA building, is clean and works in a good manner.

I'm currently pursing a course in bca and the teachers do possess sufficient knowledge about their respective courses. The syllabus is maintained according to the newest developments and the NEP syllabus does put stuff into prespective.
Placements
Placements aren't exactly a plus point of our college, especially for BCA students because we rarely get a chance for the internships that the college provides. Since the BCA department came within the college 2 years ago, I can't really say anything about our departments placement opportunities. The main placement opportunities are given to the students from the BBA, B.COM and M.COM degrees.
Campus Life
The campus is clean on an overall basis and there are some places that we can explore in our day to day lives. The teachers, students and and the support staff are also good and safe. There haven't been any situations of emergencies as of now so I can't say anything about it.

Barely we got any opportunity regarding internship which should be must provided once in every month for enhancement of skills. Internship helps one to upgrade their skills where they can apply their practical knowledge.

Although my campus life is going fine but there are lack of activities, which must be there and also some trips for students.

Our college is affiliated to JNVU, and this college provides a lot of opportunities for the academic year. All the teachers are very friendly and helpful always there to help students and teachers are highly qualified teachers.

Companies do come and teachers also refer students for placements but they should have skills to be selected. Workshops were organised to learn about the various jobs and careers after graduation, However, college does not organise or carry campus placement activities or internships.

NMS SVN college has a traditional campus in madurai with the basics well covered. the classrooms are simple but clean, with enough space and ventilation. science departments have decent lab facilities especially for computer science, physics though they are not ultra modern.

The college has a strong academic reputation in madurai for women's education. The syllabus is based on madurai kamaraj university guidelines, and teaching is quite structured. Faculty are experienced and approachable.
Placements
Being a traditional arts and science college, there isn't large- scale corporate recruitment like in engineering colleges. However, there is a placement cell that coordinates campus interviews, mainly with local firms, banks and BPO's and educational institutions.

Campus Life: No campus life at all. There were no events, clubs, or student activities to engage in. The environment was dull and lacked any sense of community or student interaction. It was mostly just attending classes with no opportunity to enjoy a true college experience.

I don't really know about the placements here, especially for BCA students as I've heard from the seniors too. An internship alone is very hard to get for a BCA student. I'm not sure about whether our college has any connections with big companies or not.

There were not many events being held till recently. Still, I feel like the campus life could be better than this. The students alone can only do so much. Since the campus is relatively smaller as compared to other colleges, the students can only roam around between the 3 departments. As for activities, they're there but not so much. The college is on the highway road but somewhere inner so it is pretty safe.

However, I do wish there were more activities which would indulge all the departments as I usually feel like the BCA department is kind of isolated, probably since it's newer.
