Sancheti College of Physiotherapy, Pune (SCOP) started in 1997 is one of the prestigious of its kind college in the field of physiotherapy education. Situated in the Thube Park, Shivajinagar, Pune, this institute is co-educational that encompass undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in physiotherapy. SCOP was established in 2004 and covers an area of 2 acres of campus and having total strength of 343 students and faculty strength of 18 members. Currently, the college has 7 programmes in 3 levels of degree offering musculoskeletal, neurosciences, cardio-respiratory, community and sports physiotherapy options.
Sancheti College of Physiotherapy works with are aimed at providing learners with access to the best technology resources modern academic practices guarantee. The college has a centrally located library fitted with computers and a wide collection of both local and international printed and electronic books, journals and textbooks particularly in the field of hospital administration. Beside the library has a reading room with adequate sitting arrangement and is functioning 12 hours in a day and thus provided the best environment for the study and research. That is why it also possesses an auditorium for events and seminars and has an active academic environment. SCOP has a well developed IT support to guarantee that students would be using modern technology in their operations. In terms of the health of students, the college offers places for sports and fitness club.
